      What is the opportunity?


      This front-office facing role within Quantitative and Technology Services (QTS) consists of developing applications for the Counterparty Risk Trading desk within the RAMPP (Risk, Analytics, Modelling, Pricing & Processing) organization. The individual will work to build on the existing Pricing System, XIP2. Additionally the individual will also be working closely on a strategic buildout for the service based approach to the pricing infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work closely with highly engaged clients and work on transformational project in the space

      This London based position requires candidates to possess excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills and deal with trading/quant and support groups on a frequent basis.

      RBC’s expectation is that from mid-September 2025, all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.

      What will you do?

      • Collaborate and facilitate decision making with stakeholders (Trading and Quants)
      • Contribute towards enterprise push on emerging technologies on public or on-prem cloud
      • Collaborate with other developers to develop code in line with strategic FIC IT architecture
      • Provide second-level technical support Provide exceptional levels of service for desk customers
      • Manage the build and deployment cycle for the AIS technology platform
      • Engage multiple teams, such as T&O , DevOps, QA and Support, at relevant stages of SDLC

      What do you need to succeed?

      Must-have

      - Strong experience with VBA and Excel based pricing tools
      - Experience with integration of pricing tools with enterprise systems
      - Experience with Python or microservices set up
      - Experience working in an agile team and familiarity with Change processes
      - Ability to liaise with traders, Quants, middle office, and IT Highly motivated and takes initiative
      - Ability to work effectively within global team Good written and communication skills

      Nice-to-have

      - Familiarity with working of cloud infrastructure
      - Familiarity with use of version control software such a Github
