Within R&D IT Solutions, the Product Creation Applications (PCA) department is responsible for providing and supporting the R&D design community globally with best-in-class applications and support. The applications are used by over 6,000 designers.

Job Summary

This is for the position of a Senior developer who will have responsibilities to develop and support applications used for HW Design data management. These applications include tools used for Product lifecycle management, HW design workspace management and configuration management. The candidate should have an ability to grasp new technologies quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.

The candidate for this position will be required to demonstrate flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supports the designer community on tool issues and enhancements .
• Works with team of developers to develop and deploys new solutions.
• Works with Business Analysts on integration of roadmaps, projects, bugs and changes.
• Identify opportunities for automation within R&D IT applications workflows/ processes.
• Contribute to the support of the R&D IT applications (Tier2/3 level support).

Job Qualifications

• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 10 plus years of technical experience in Java is must.
• Working experience with Unix/ Linux/Putty is must.
• Understanding of Design Data Management processes with experience on any Product lifecycle management tool (Dassault Enovia, Oracle Agile PLM or others)
• Knowledge of Data Configuration Management systems (with DesignSync/ SVN/GIT), Database and scripting languages will be a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and logical skills
• Conceptual ITIL knowledge with understanding of agile development frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
• Must possess excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience with customer-oriented support, being pro-active.
• Used to working in global environment and also should be adaptable to learn new skills and follow industry trends.
