What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Own significant parts of the marketplace, including the storefront, course platform, and data systems
- Develop and ship features that enhance user experience and engagement
- Collaborate with team members to design and improve data models and performance
- Communicate effectively within the team to ensure alignment on project goals
- Utilize technologies such as React, Next.js, Python, FastAPI, and Postgres
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering features to a real user base (excluding personal or school projects)
- Proficiency in React hooks, data model design, and Postgres performance optimization
- Strong sense of agency and conscientiousness in work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with technologies like OpenAI, dbt, and Snowflake
- Previous work in fast-paced startup environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects or initiatives within a team setting
