What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research, design, code, test, and ship Applied AI solutions as a core member of the Applied Research team
- Improve automated furnishing algorithms and lead developments in home furnishing assistance
- Develop ML tooling to enhance productivity and software quality within the research team
- Create meaningful proofs-of-concept (POCs) from state-of-the-art ML models and algorithms for evaluation
- Drive engineering best practices to improve team effectiveness and efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong expertise in Python programming
- Experience building resilient, low-latency systems and pipelines
- Highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven results
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with 3D graphics
- Experience training neural networks
- Familiarity with classical computer vision algorithms
