Description
Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its Johnston, RI location.
Duties: Design, modify, develop, and implement technology solutions for Foreign Exchange products in Global Markets; building modern, architecturally sound components, tools, and applications to meet mission-driven strategic business goals. Participate in an environment rapidly transforming to the Agile methodology, adhering to best practices, and collaborating effectively with teammates. Infuse quality of service characteristics, such as scalability, manageability, and maintainability, into distributed service-based framework to create or expand business or technical capabilities. Document development iterations; ensuring the quality of technical documentation; creating progress reports. Participate in code and design reviews with network, infrastructure and solutions engineering teams to ensure that solutions meet current enterprise standards.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field followed by seven (7) years of progressive experience in the role offered or in a related position. Full term of experience must include: Utilizing trading applications, including WallStreet Systems v5.0.5 (Back Office, Front Office, FX Investigation, FX Setup, FX Support), CBForex System (Money Market, Foreign Currency Account, Foreign Exchange), Refintiv FXALL System, Bloomberg FXGO system, 360T system, and Integral System as Trade Aggregation; Utilizing Global Markets applications, including IHS Markit TradeSTP, OpenText Distribution, and ACI Money Transfer System (MTS); Developing applications using Mainframe, Java/J2EE, Hibernate and Spring boot with IDEs, including Eclipse, IBM RAD and Net Beans; Designing and validating user interfaces using HTML5, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and Ext JS; Designing relational databases with MySQL, Oracle, Netezza and DB2, NoSQL databases with MongoDB, Couchbase; Implementing web services using XML, SOAP, WSDL, REST and JSON including application load balancing and auto scaling capabilities; Conducting continuous integration from code repositories, including Bitbucket, Star team, SVN, and CVS; Performing code analysis using JUnit, PMD and Sonar; Continuous deployment by maintaining artifact versioning and deployment to several application servers including WebSphere, JBoss, and Tomcat; Migrating legacy AS400 applications and reverse engineering RPG code; Creating AWS Cloud applications that utilize EC2 virtual servers, S3 and Elastic File systems (EFS) storage, DynamoDB databases, ELB, Auto Scaling and API Gateway API management, Route53 domain service, IAM with security groups access control, and Redshift data warehouses; and Implementing real user monitoring and alerting on application API calls with tools including Dynatrace, Sentry and Splunk.
