      Senior Software Engineer

      What you will do

      The resource reporting to Software Architect will be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing main and user interface firmware for ovens, induction hob and dishwasher products.

      ACTIVITIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

      • Very good working experience in C language programming on 8/16/32 bit Microcontroller and ARM Cortex, preferable Microchip, ST and Renesas

      • Firmware development on real time systems without operating system

      • Knowledge of low level registers, peripheral management, memory and interrupt handling, serial communication protocols, I2C, UART, SPI, LIN BUS, ...

      • Touch management, calibration and performance optimization

      • Able to read and understand already existing code, even with missing specification

      • Maintenance of existing software

      • Reverse engineering starting from existing code

      • Module test and integration testing

      • GIT framework knowledge

      • Compiler and debugger: Microchip, Keil, IAR, GCC, Renesas e2 Studio, GDB

      • Software debugging on the system and on PCB: HW customization on PCB, electronic schematics analysis and use of oscilloscope, signal generator, external power supply

      • Software release management & documentations

      • Re-engineer and maintain available source code for existing and new projects.

      What you need to succeed

      Must have

      Professional experience : firmware Engineer, with at least 5 years of embedded firmware development experience on 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers.

      Required knowledge of embedded systems, touch display technology, ability to write scalable and modular code both for lower and higher levels. Proficient in C language.

      Education: Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent

      Languages: Italian and English (fluent)
