What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify pain points in deployment processes and outline plans for improvement
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure tools enable rapid, high-quality development
- Collect and analyze data to introduce impactful features and improvements
- Engineer reliable software deployment and rollback solutions
- Continuously improve products by transforming support requests into requirements for better automation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience with at least 2 modern web application languages/frameworks (Ruby, Kotlin, Typescript, Python, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience scripting and supporting multiple AWS resources (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3)
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD applications with advanced deployment features
- 3+ years of experience with monitoring/observability for complex web applications
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Full Stack software development experience
- Experience building high-volume, high-uptime CI/CD systems and related technologies
- Knowledge of Linux architecture and administration
- Skills in building CI/CD pipelines covered by automated tests
- Ability to inspire collaboration within a fully-remote team
