      Overview:

      Rogue Fitness is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our E-Commerce team in Columbus, OH. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will play a key role in developing software which drives our E-Commerce processes at Rogue. You will work closely with one or more agile teams to build and enhance our E-Commerce platform using a cutting edge technical stack which includes front end development in Vue 3 and typescript with backend development in Node.

      The Senior Frontend Developer is a fully onsite role in Columbus, Ohio. Remote work is not available.

      Responsibilities:

      • Full Stack Development: Collaborate with one of our agile teams to design and implement scalable, and efficient full-stack solutions. Code with senior level technical capabilities including implementing well structured code and code that follows best practices. Build UI Prototypes.

      • Code Review and Mentorship: Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality standards. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers within the team. Be able to recommend performance improvements and alternative methods to deliver something to ensure the highest performance and reliability.

      • System Architecture: Weigh in on design decisions made by our architecture team for improvements and optimizations.

      • Collaboration: Collaborate with product owners, quality assurance and directors to deliver high-quality software solutions. The right candidate should have excellent oral and written communication.


      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of software experience

      OR

      • Associates degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and 7+ years experience

      • Minimum of 5 years with at least one major front-end technologies including one SPA language such as React, Angular or Vue.js.

      • Minimum of 5 years with Typescript and Node

      • Minimum of 5 years with database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgresSQL, and MySQL.

      • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML, CSS / SASS, JavaScript, AJAX. VueJS and single page app experience preferred.

      • Familiar with front-end build tools, such as Gulp/Webpack

      • The ability to develop front-end applications, solve cross browser rendering issues, knowledge of user interaction principles and website design and usability.

      • Experience navigating Sketch/Abstract and translating designs for the web.

      • Experience in performance optimization using tools

      • Solid understanding of object oriented design concepts, n-tier architectures, and Server Side Rendering.

      • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

      Nice to Haves:

      • Experience in a multi-tenant global web environment.

      • Experience with microservice architecture patterns.

      • Experience with RabbitMQ, and NodeJs.
