What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally throughout the software development lifecycle
- Lead design sessions and code reviews to elevate engineering quality
- Define and support reusable application components from both business and technology perspectives
- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices across teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Fluency in at least two modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or C#
- 4+ years of professional software development experience within web frameworks/SDKs/languages
- 3+ years of experience with architecture and design
- Proven understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs
- Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
- Knowledge of Kubernetes or a willingness to learn
- Experience in open-source frameworks
- Advanced understanding of DevOps concepts and cloud architecture
- Strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments
