Bento for Business is seeking the position of Senior Software Engineer in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Senior Software Engineer position will be responsible for delivering high-quality systems and shaping the next stage of evolution in payments and financial services. Responsibilities include: designing and developing critical features and components; identifying and selecting the right tools and frameworks for the job; collaborating cross-functionally to build and evolve platform and application capabilities that meet the technical, product, and business objectives; implementing automated testing suite for functional and performance testing; being an owner and a champion of platform and application quality, performance, and integrity; and being customer focused. Telecommuting available anywhere in U.S.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical and Computer Engineering or Computer Science plus 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related technical role. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical and Computer Engineering or Computer Science plus 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related technical role in lieu of a Master’s degree plus 2 years of experience.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess 2 years of experience with Master’s or 5 years of experience with Bachelor’s with each of the following: developing, testing, and maintaining software applications; automating systems; creating technical designs adhering to architectural best practices, considering scalability, reliability and performance of the systems; integrating services; performing unit and integration testing; Java; RESTful API; continuous integration; Microservices; MySQL; Terraform; and Springboot. Telecommuting available anywhere in the U.S. Company headquarters located at 800 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55402. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location.
