What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the engineering team in an agile environment to produce scalable software solutions
- Partner with Leadership and key stakeholders to identify and address software needs
- Perform full-stack development and manage your stories, including prioritization and documentation
- Mentor other engineers in best practices and code standards
- Lead large projects with multiple engineers, ensuring high-quality application standards through code reviews
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 5 years of software development experience on large-scale web applications
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to analyze feature stories and design robust solutions
- Mastery of object-oriented design and implementation in Java
- Proficiency in building UIs with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and solid SQL skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Octane software stories and implementing HTTP/XML integrations
- Comfortable with Linux commands and tools
- Passion for great code design, UX, security, performance, and testing
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
