Senior Software Engineer
Job Description
Senior Software Engineer positions offered by Volvo Car USA LLC (Ridgeville, SC). Lead various technical teams to incident resolution. Analyze and troubleshoot integrations between applications. Provide technical solutions for evolving business processes within existing applications. Work with stakeholders to plan, schedule and supervise application maintenance. Support technical development within the team across product areas. Perform coding, bug fixes, and new software development. Coordinate, follow up and secure accurate testing in the appropriate areas.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience performing software development and engineering. Also requires 5 years of experience: using Oracle PL SQL, Core Java, RESTful Web services, Spring, Eclipse, Virtual Studio, Spring Tool Suite, IntelliJ, Spring Boot, and GIT; and performing systems integration. Requires 4 years of experience using Hibernate, OpenVMS, HTML5, CSS3, and JAVASCRIPT; practical experience troubleshooting systems integrations between PLC and upper IT systems; and designing, analyzing and managing with Oracle DB or MSSQL DB. Requires 3 years of experience working in Agile development methodologies. Requires 2 years of experience using Linux, Angular, and Bootstrap. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
