What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Contribute to the design and implementation of interfaces between the Self-Driving Truck and Mission Management for Telemetry, Remote Assistance, and Diagnostics use cases
- Write secure, efficient, and maintainable C++ code focused on performance and flexibility
- Clearly communicate daily status on assigned activities and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of experience (or Master’s with 4+ years)
- Proficiency in modern C++ (11/14/17), design patterns, and real-time application development
- Solid experience with Linux, ROS, and embedded system interfaces
- Hands-on experience with IoT frameworks, WebRTC, and video streaming pipelines
- Familiarity with diagnostics protocols such as SOVD and UDS
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Exposure to cloud-based diagnostics or monitoring platforms
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with automotive cybersecurity (ISO 21434, threat modeling)
- Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, or TSN-based vehicle networks
- Prior work on over-the-air update pipelines or remote debugging tools
