What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and develop microservices and Java-based software applications
- Manage containerized applications using Docker or similar technologies
- Develop and maintain an enterprise React application
- Write quality unit tests using JUnit and Jest to validate software functionality
- Assist with software testing, integration, and cyber security hardening
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 6 years of direct experience in software development
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in Spring Java Framework and JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular
- Experience with REST and WebSocket technologies
- Familiarity with modern software build tools including Git, Jenkins, Gradle, Node.js, and Docker
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience using Git in a collaborative production environment
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab
- Experience with TypeScript in large code bases
- Contributions to open-source projects or published software for external use
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum development methodologies
