What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with architects, scrum masters, and managers to make telematics data accessible on the Enterprise Data Platform
- Design and build the next-generation telematics platform in Azure
- Apply Software Development techniques like Automated Testing and CI/CD to build data products
- Develop new data processing components and maintain data quality throughout the lifecycle
- Utilize programming languages like Scala, Python, and Open-Source RDBMS for data processing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in a computer-related field or equivalent professional experience required
- 3+ years of experience with Big Data or data warehouse systems
- 2+ years of experience working in a cloud environment like Azure, AWS, or other public clouds
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases
- Experience with batch and real-time data pipelines development and ETL tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2 years of experience working on real-time data and streaming applications
- Proficiency in Scala Spark and Python
- Experience with Databricks, ADF, and Event Hub
- 2 years of experience in ELT/ETL and building data pipelines
- Knowledge of Telematics data set is a plus
