  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Design, develop, and test software for external-facing products, including client, web, or server-side development
  - Collaborate with team leads to design UI, architecture, database, and instrument controls for software products
  - Conduct unit testing, verification, debugging, and troubleshoot to resolve issues
  - Lead development sprints for software modules as needed, presenting and participating in peer reviews of code and designs
  - Extend existing systems to incorporate new capabilities and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) as required
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  - Minimum of three years of experience in a software engineering environment
  - Experience leading development sprints in an Agile process
  - Strong knowledge of best software processes/practices related to the software development life cycle
  - Proficiency in Java, relational databases, and web technologies such as JavaScript and frameworks like React/Angular
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Experience with cloud environments such as AWS/Azure/GCP
  - Strong knowledge of build tools and automated build systems like Jenkins/TeamCity/CodeBuild
  - Demonstrated ability to manage project tasks in an orderly and structured manner
  - Excellent oral and written communication skills
  - Aptitude for decomposing complex problems into simplified steps
