- Evaluate current QA coverage and identify gaps
- Develop manual and automated QA strategies and procedures
- Perform manual testing of web-based workflows while working towards automation
- Code and maintain automated test coverage
- Ensure high-quality software releases
- Collaborate with developers, physicians, and lab techs to refine testing processes
- Write and maintain feature test plans
- Identify opportunities to expand and improve QA automation
- Troubleshoot and resolve testing and quality issues
- Experience in code-driven QA environments
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing methods
- Familiarity with QA tools and frameworks for Python/Django and React/TypeScript as well as AI coding tools / AI assisted coding
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator across technical and clinical teams
- Background in healthcare or laboratory software
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software quality metrics
- Initiative in optimizing processes and improving user experience

Job Description
Pathology Watch Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to lead testing efforts for our flagship application, dot. Used in both laboratories and clinics, dot supports physicians and lab techs with efficient and accurate cancer diagnostics. The application is built with Python/Django on the backend and TypeScript/React on the frontend. This role will collaborate closely with our development team and end users to ensure defect-free releases through thorough manual and automated testing.Location: Remote - US
