- Lead and manage the preparation, review, and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Assist and partner in executing and monitoring the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Oversee daily operations of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams, ensuring timely billing, collections, payments, and adherence to internal controls and procedures.
- Partner closely with department heads to support strategic initiatives, enhance customer experience, and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Assist and partner in developing, maintaining, and evaluating accounting policies and processes, identifying areas for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to ensure financial health, proactively addressing areas of concern and opportunity.
- Provide management with regular updates on AR aging, bad debt risk, cash flow trends, and operational insights.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities.
- Assist and partner in hiring, mentoring and supporting the development of team members, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Serve as a key liaison during audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to external auditors.
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives that align with company goals.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in an operational or multi-unit environment
- Demonstrated minimum of 5 years of leadership in a team or supervisory capacity
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of GAAP principles
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.); familiarity with ERP/accounting systems
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a customer-focused mindset
- Strong analytical skills and the willingness to identify and implement process improvements
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
