      Position Summary

      Role and Responsibilities

      Work with architects and designers to build verification environments and test plans. Develops and executes GPU design verification. Crafts functional verification coverage strategy to ensure complete test suite implementation. Develops assertions and checks to optimize isolation time and produce meaningful failing signatures. Analyzes failing tests to root cause along, working with RTL and reference modeling teams. Provides input on Architectural and Micro-Architectural specifications for testability and accuracy. Examines code coverage results, identifying exclusions and improving stimulus. Takes ownership of key milestone closure by meeting phase gate pass rates, coverage quality, and other quality metrics.

      May work from home on a hybrid schedule within San Diego and surrounding areas.

      Skills and Qualifications

      Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or in a closely related or equivalent field plus eight (8) years of experience in a related occupation preforming each of the following: design verification of deep pipelined digital designs using CPU or GPU or other IP.

      Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or in a closely related or equivalent field and ten (10) years of experience in a related occupation preforming each of the following: design verification of deep pipelined digital designs using CPU or GPU or other IP.

      Total Rewards

      At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $231,074.00 and $297,200.00. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.
