What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical and thought leadership across multiple areas, driving innovation and strategy
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to address complex challenges
- Develop and execute a software development strategy, ensuring quality and performance of solutions
- Mentor and coach engineering teams, fostering technical expertise and best practices
- Analyze operational processes and resource requirements to support continuous improvement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of professional DevOps experience
- 8+ years of experience in architecture and design within software engineering
- 6+ years of coding experience in open-source frameworks
- 4+ years of experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience leading a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team for at least 8 years
- Proven track record of publications in credible conferences and journals
- Fluency in multiple modern programming languages, including Go, Java, C++, and Python
- Familiarity with security protocols such as Active Directory and OAuth
- Experience with automated testing methodologies, including unit and integration testing
