Develop tooling to automate deployment and management of large-scale infrastructure environments, to automate monitoring and alerting
Write and review code, develop documentation and capacity plans
Reduce TOIL through automation
Work with cross functional business partners and customers
Share an on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for service incidents
Own core infrastructure services (e.g. DNS/DHCP, LDAP, VNC) and thousands of Linux servers across multiple data centers and regions
Develop self-service tooling and software for our users
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent experience
8+ years of software and API development experience (Python, Go)
Proven experience in UNIX and TCP/IP network fundamentals
Shell scripting and automation of repetitive administration tasks
Experience using and designing configuration-as-code and infrastructure-as-code through software and tooling
Thrives in a multi-tasking environment with constantly evolving priorities
Outstanding interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management and colleagues
Mentoring junior engineers and guiding them through development and implementation
You are a self starter and require minimal supervision
Experience with containers and other virtualization technologies

The base salary range is 164,000 USD - 310,500 USD.
