      The salary for this position is $76,270- $111,870 dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule. Salary and benefits information is being included in this job posting in accordance with local state laws.

      Technical Operations/Maintenance

      Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams, and more.

      Job overview and responsibilities

      A Senior Staff Representative- Quality Assurance Audit, Regulatory Compliance, and FAA Liaison will have responsibility for research and collection of information for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Voluntary Disclosure Reporting Program (VDRP), Letters of Investigation (LOI) and any other FAA or company issues. Communication with all levels of the FAA and company management from the Vice President down will be required daily. The auditor must be able to coordinate multidivisional corrective actions and ensure timely follow-up to ensure completion.

      · Administers the program for the processing of Voluntary Self-Disclosures, FAA Request for information, and Letters of Investigation within the stipulated time allowed.

      · Acts as an internal consultant regarding quality assurance issues, policies, and regulatory requirements within and across organizations.

      · Coordination and execution of company-committed corrective action items made to the FAA in response to regulatory findings

      What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

      • Undergraduate degree in technical, safety, or aviation-related field or equivalent level of work experience
      • FAA Airframe and /or Powerplant Certificate or equivalent aircraft maintenance/inspection and quality assurance experience
      • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
      • Proven understanding of the Code of Federal Regulations and Company Manuals / Requirements
      • Digital literacy to include Microsoft Office Applications and demonstrated experience with the ability to learn Company / Department IT Platforms
      • Experience interacting with the FAA both verbally and in written correspondence.
      • 5-7 years of demonstrated significant achievements in aircraft maintenance, inspection, engineering, and QA areas, with tried superior leadership capabilities
      • Consistently achieved technical excellence in the understanding and implementation of aircraft maintenance surveillance and analysis programs
      • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
      • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
      • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position

      What will help you stand out from the crowd (Preferred Qualifications):

      • Master’s/Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
      • Completion of certified programs in the quality assurance field
      • Professional certification in Quality, or Safety
      • Extensive and validated experience in quality assurance auditing, risk assessment, and root cause analysis.
