  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Design and implement Webflow’s Central Data Catalog for metadata management and governance
  - Architect privacy-aware infrastructure to meet regulatory compliance requirements
  - Lead governance and compliance strategy in collaboration with legal and security teams
  - Apply ML/AI techniques to enhance platform features and data catalog capabilities
  - Mentor and guide engineering teams on high-impact initiatives and engineering standards
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  - 10+ years of backend or infrastructure engineering experience
  - Expertise in metadata systems and data catalog platforms
  - Familiarity with modern data infrastructure technologies such as Kafka, Spark, and Airflow
  - Experience in designing secure, production-grade environments using EKS and VPCs
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Hands-on experience with ML/AI applications in infrastructure or platform features
  - Proven track record of leading large-scale, high-impact platform initiatives
  - Strong understanding of the architectural and legal implications of data compliance
  - Familiarity with building lineage and governance workflows
  - Openness to learning and growing in emerging technologies like AI
