What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient full-stack applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Implement and manage testing processes to ensure the quality and reliability of applications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education or work experience
- At least 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale solutions
- Mastery in modern programming languages such as Java, Springboot, JavaScript, Python, .NET, and C++
- Fluency with technologies such as Angular, Kafka, NoSQL, and relational databases
- Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Rail, Shipping, Airline, Logistics, Warehousing, Supply Chain, or other Transportation industries
- Proven ability to debug, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks in complex applications
- Familiarity with hardware and network configuration processes such as firewalls and cloud data management
- Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Experience leveraging best-in-class security practices and protocols
