What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, scalable web applications
- Lead the resolution of critical performance bottlenecks across the full stack
- Perform root cause analysis of performance issues and implement optimization strategies
- Develop and drive the tech strategy for the Commercial Insurance organization
- Mentor and coach engineering teams to enhance technical expertise
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 8+ years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on performance optimization
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 10+ years of professional experience in software development
- 6+ years of experience with architecture and design
- Familiarity with performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Visionary thinker with the ability to anticipate future challenges and opportunities
- Proven track record of leading software projects in large organizations
