      THE ROLE

      We are seeking a Senior Strategic Consultant who will be the Subject Matter Expert and responsible for supporting a regional Strategic Sales function that will drive proactive business development in North America, and possibly Latin America. The role is within the Value Selling team at Temenos and works closely with Temenos senior management. This individual will report to the Director of Customer Value and Strategy. This role will drive existing relationships and opportunities with prospect and client banks and Credit Unions based on a consultative approach. It involves learning and increasing banking and credit union business knowledge quickly, direct contact with senior clients, and a high degree of independence.

      OPPORTUNITES
      • You will work on large data sets, including handling and examining data for benchmarking, using these to diagnose/solve banks’ and credit unions’ challenges and provide insights to help improve efficiency and business performance.
      • You will be responsible for deliverables ranging from periodic benchmarking activities to tailored collaborative business cases involving collecting data, interviewing stakeholders, planning and facilitating workshops, and translating conclusions into recommendations.
      • You will be working directly with C-suite and key stakeholders to improve the business, strengthen relationships, and act as a trusted advisor.
      • You will provide business intelligence and decision support via benchmarking and market research for banking technology.
      • You will gain increasing knowledge of banking and the credit union industry.
      SKILLS
      • You should have a bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or Engineering related experience.
      • You should have advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills (REQUIRED).
      • You should have prior consulting experience in financial services from a top tier strategy house such as McKinsey, BCG (Boston Consulting Group), and Bain (REQUIRED).
      • You should have experience in banking/financial services (REQUIRED). Credit Unions is a plus.
      • You should quickly develop an understanding of a bank or credit union’s challenges, strategic priorities, and financial objectives.
      • You should have a deep knowledge and understanding of analysis and financial drivers, KPIs, and metrics within the banking industry.
      • You should have exceptional analytical ability including interpretation of large data sets and deciphering the findings into clear messages and visuals.
      • You should be able to lead client engagements on building collaborative business cases with financial models.
      • You should be a focused, organized, and a collaborative team player who is passionate about offering real solutions to complex problems.
      • You should have strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to integrate with other functions within Temenos.
      • You should have effective written and verbal communication with internal stakeholders (sales and presales) and external stakeholders (C-Suite and Senior Executives at the banks and/or credit unions).
      • You should have the ability to take responsibility and handle the pressure of large deals.
      • You should have native English communication skills; orally and written; fluent Spanish (a plus).
      • You should be open to global travel (10%).
