      About this role:

      Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Strategy & Planning Consultant as part of Independent Testing & Validation (IT&V) Data Strategy team. Independent Testing & Validation is responsible for developing a common methodology and standards, providing governance and oversight, executing testing; and conducting horizontal reviews. The Data Strategy team is at the center of IT&V’s efforts to transform into a technology and data driven organization. The Data Strategy team owns all technology deliverables for IT&V including ownership of the Enterprise Base Testing Platform and the IT&V Analytics and Automation platform.

      The candidate must also have strong communication skills, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, strategy and planning skills. Your aim is to deliver powerful analytic solutions & automations to meet the needs of our testing environment.


      In this role, you will:

      • Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Strategy & Planning
      • Contribute to large scale planning related to Strategy & Planning
      • Assist in the identification of strategic business, investment opportunities, evaluation, and approval process of identified opportunities
      • Review and analyze business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives
      • Exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables
      • Resolve moderately complex issues
      • Lead team to meet deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
      • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
      • Lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor


      Required Qualifications, US:

      • 4+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


      Desired Qualifications:

      • Required significant experience in analytic tools, specifically SAS/Python/R/Tableau/SAS Viya
      • Strong analytical skills including the ability to quickly understand a variety of disparate data sources, distill complex data into analysis that drive decisions, and apply business knowledge to derive valuable insights
      • Proficiency with SQL and data transformation techniques
      • Experience with Data sourcing, data governance, data validation and verification for completeness and accuracy
      • Experience in identifying impacts to IT&V application due to changes in upstream data and structural changes
      • Ability to utilize various database management systems, including Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle, & DB2
      • Financial industry experience
      • Risk Management experience
      • Experience in process planning, strategy and delivery

      Pay Range

      $96,600.00 - $171,800.00 Annual
