      As our Senior Supervisor, Cash Accounting you will support the cash accounting team with monthly and quarterly deliverables.

      The Cash Accounting team is responsible for general ledger entries, reconciliation of cash accounts, and assists in other areas like receivables and revenue, etc.

      Your Impact

      As the Senior Supervisor, Cash Accounting, you will:

      • Review to ensure accurate and timely reconciliations of all cash accounts
      • Work with Treasury teams to resolve cash posting errors and bank account reconciliation variances.
      • Post Cash Transactions in Oracle Cash Management
      • Oversee the preparation of monthly journal entries and assist in other aspects of the monthly and quarterly close process such as flux analysis and ad hoc reporting
      • Assist in the fulfillment of external and internal audit requirements
      • Manage relationship with 3rd party Unclaimed Property vendor and education of escheatment for the Company
      • Ensure SOX compliance
      • Interview, select and supervise performance of staff of 2 to 5 Senior and Staff Accountants
      • Work with Management to drive process improvements and efficiencies, including system upgrades

      Minimum Qualifications

      To be formally considered, you'll need:

      • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
      • Minimum five years of accounting experience, At least one in a Supervisory function

      Preferred:

      • Master’s degree in accounting preferred
      • CPA is a plus
      • Cash accounting or related experience preferred
      • Previous audit experience preferred
      • Health care industry experience is a plus

      Additional Success Factors

      The ideal candidate will also demonstrate:

      • Strong understanding of US GAAP
      • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage others
      • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
      • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
      • Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting software, Oracle or Netsuite a plus
      • Ability to work under pressure with strict time constraints
      • Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to quickly develop working relationships across teams and communicate both up and down the corporate hierarchy
