- Utilizes a complete working knowledge of multi-state payroll processing, including reporting, maintenance and client requirements in order to perform duties.
- Understands client requirements for assigned client groups.
- Inputs computation of pay according to company policy.
- Conducts quality review of payroll inputs e.g. salary adjustments, special payments, etc.
- Researches and resolves complex client problems.
- Independently handles processing payroll transactions.
- Analyzes information for the preparation of Payroll reports.
- Maintains client contact with customers that have HR/Benefit/Payroll issues.
- Stays current on WM's policies and procedures.
- Keeps abreast of the multi-state payroll processing system and changes in wage, tax laws, and corresponds with federal, state and local tax agencies.
- Maintains accurate client files.
- Monitors industry trends and reports information to Leader.

I. Job Summary
Under general supervision, conducts accurately and timely processing of WM's payroll, resolves complex client issues, and assists in the processing or obtaining of information for payroll production.

The expected base pay range for this hourly position across the U.S. is $25.00 to $28.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
