Job Description

- Design, develop, enhance, and support Finance and HR systems and other non-clinical solutions.
- Conduct user workshops and work with internal and external teams on all phases of the system lifecycle including requirement gathering, analysis, solution design, development, data flow, implementation, integration, testing, training, support and maintenance.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, report, and resolve system related issues in a timely manner.
- Perform software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
- Assess and recommend hardware, software and services relating to non-clinical cloud-based and on-premise solutions.
- Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities of the current integration technologies deployed at Mackenzie Health.
- Other duties as required.
- University degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Information Technology.
- A minimal 5 years of system support with Finance and HCM ERP systems including experience in advanced integrations requirements gathering, analyzing functional and non-functional requirements.
- Extensive experience in implementing, supporting and maintaining large scale and complex Financial or HCM ERP systems.
- Kronos UKG Workforce Central or Kronos UKG Dimensions experience preferred
- Prior hands-on development experience with middleware and integration platforms such as BOOMI, MuleSoft, SnapLogic, Informatica, etc. preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with web technologies (REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, etc) preferred.
- Strong business-to-technology translation documentation skills are essential for identifying ways to apply solutions to current gaps.
- Ability to identify and communicate operational issues and drive the resolution of issues in an effective manner which also ensure high customer satisfaction levels.
- Ability to handle unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative and creative solutions that will achieve quality and work process improvements.
- Good understanding of risk management, privacy, e-safety, and quality assurance methodologies as they relate to integration/software engineering.
- Excellent oral, interpersonal communication and presentation skills. Able to communicate effectively with diverse people and individuals at various levels within the organization.
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Proven attendance record.
- Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment for all.
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.

Permanent Full-Time
The Senior System Analyst is accountable for implementing, supporting, testing and integrating business systems and other non-clinical systems. Other components of the role include managing best customer service support, troubleshooting system issues, coordinating and applying application patches and upgrades, and performing maintenance to ensure systems are running optimally at the new Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital and at the existing Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital.
