      Senior Systems Analyst

      (This is a full-time, non-remote position )

      United Community Bank is hiring a Senior Systems Analyst to formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex business applications and processes based on technology best practices and business objectives. This position will also act as the liaison among the stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and validate business solutions by having an understanding of the business unit and the technology that supports it.

      What will you do as a Senior Systems Analyst?

      • Responsible for being the liaison for business units and technology by supporting and implementing the technical solutions and system processes
      • Manages the progress and quality of a business application and process by gathering information and providing recommendations and plans as necessary
      • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems and application software
      • Manage and monitor all installed assigned systems and infrastructure solutions
      • Provide training, guidance, and mentor less experienced teammates
      • Work with business, vendor, technology for the development and operations of a state-of-the-art environment that meets current and future business objectives
      • Work with vendors and technology to ensure all requirements are fulfilled by the technical designs
      • Develops a methodology for the ongoing assessment of performance and the identification of problem areas
      • Provides input and assessment during the development, testing, and enhancement of production applications
      • Configure, manage, and promote projects in Dev, Test, and Production environments
      • Work with vendors in evaluating and implementing new technologies
      • Providing training and documentation to supporting technical staff and users

      What should you already know to be successful as a Senior Systems Analyst?

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or similarly applicable field preferred
      • 10+ years prior experience on an Information Technology, Banking, or Operations Team with experience acting as lead resource for those teams
      • Must have a working knowledge of servers, personal computers, networks, and data communications and Windows Server Administration skills
      • Working knowledge of storage platforms and related software
      • Understanding of Windows Services – TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, NTP, SMTP, IIS, SNMP, RDS
      • Experience in managing vendor implementations and vendor relationships
      • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
      • Strong interpersonal, communications and organizational skills
      • Develop and prepare training materials and conduct employee development classes Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or similarly applicable field
      • Familiarity with ServiceNow workflow editor and flow designer
      • Familiarity with ServiceNow Service Portal widgets and portal design
      • Familiarity with writing and implementing ServiceNow business rules and client scripts

      Conditions of Employment:

      • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
      • This is a full-time, non-remote position

      This position does not manage employees

      Salary Grade

      10 – Min = $59,280.00; Mid = $91,293.00 (plus)

      Salary is commensurate with experience
