What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide operations and maintenance support for custom-built and purchased software programs used by the Oregon Health Authority and the Department of Human Services
- Support applications that serve administrative functions across all areas of the agency
- Analyze and document business processes and requirements/user stories
- Manage application development projects with both short-term and long-term system goals
- Develop and support C# .NET applications, including programming and testing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of six (6) years of information systems experience in developing and supporting C# .NET applications
- Recent (last 3 years) direct programming experience with web-based and object-oriented development in C#.NET
- Recent (last 3 years) experience with SQL Server and/or other comparable relational databases
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field may substitute for up to four (4) years of experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Recent (last 3 years) experience with structured application design, analysis, modeling, programming, testing, and implementation
- Experience programming Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) interfaces
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and data analysis and data modeling
- Experience in promoting a culturally competent and diverse work environment
- Experience managing application development projects
