What you'll do - Mentor / provide support to less-experienced Developers- Support / may lead full-stack infrastructure architecture and design; identify / scope / architect / deliver moderately complex solutions; suggest solutions- May engage / collaborate with external technical teams to ensure timely, high-quality solutions; may engage with shared services teams and vendors- Assist in research and fact-finding to modify or enhance systems and applications- Independently configure, enhance / update, maintain, test, debug COTS systems / integrations- Provide accurate work estimations; meet delivery expectations with tight time windows- Help create technical documentation / training for system enhancements and test scenarios- Assist with test planning / test case development, and testing- Assist with implementation, end-to-end system integration, stabilization, and production support transition- Support implementation of proactive automated system monitoring and alerting solutions; identify engineering tools that facilitate systems management- Stay available to provide support during escalation of incidents- Assist with documentation and closure of follow-up action items from significant incidents and recurring incidents- May assist with proposed COTS, SaaS and cloud-based solution technical reviews- Support implementation of small to medium domain-specific applications to fill gaps between large COTS systemsWho You Are- You have a related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience- You have 2+ years of experience configuring, enhancing, and maintaining COTS / SaaS products- You understand development methodologies / processes- You have analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills- You have an ownership mentalityWho We Are- H-E-B is one of the largest, independently owned food retailers in the nation, operating over 400 stores throughout Texas and Mexico, with annual sales generating over $26 billion- We hire talented people (116,000+ Partners), and give them autonomy to be creative in how they impact the business- We're a Partner-driven company with a Bold Promise--Because People Matter- We embrace Diversity and Inclusion as core values, and support them with thriving company-wide programs- We're a truly original Texas-based company that created the Spirit of Giving to help Texas communities every day- Once eligible, our Partners become Owners in the company.
