- EMC Program Management:
- Develop and adapt EMC plans tailored to specific project requirements.
- Define EMC needs and establish EMC requirements for projects.
- Analyze EMC documentation and identify potential issues or problematic situations.
- Technical Analysis and Testing:
- Perform detailed analyses related to EMC and EMI conditions.
- Identify and recommend specific tests to address EMC concerns.
- Assist in resolving identified EMI conditions through technical solutions.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Collect EMC evidence and prepare comprehensive compliance demonstration documentation.
- Ensure all EMC-related activities align with industry standards and project specifications.
- Strong knowledge of transit systems and their electromagnetic characteristics.
- Expertise in signal analysis and electromagnetism principles.
- Understanding of electromagnetic phenomena, coupling mechanisms, and their impact on systems.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment and measurement techniques for EMC analysis.
- Familiarity with filtering and shielding techniques, including their limitations.
- Ability to synthesize complex information and present it clearly to targeted audiences.
- Exceptional technical writing skills to prepare unambiguous documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in system design and troubleshooting.
- Valuable experience in radio communications and power electronics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

The Senior Systems Engineer – EMC Specialist will lead efforts to ensure electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) across complex engineering projects. This role involves defining, executing, and managing EMC programs, analyzing electromagnetic interference (EMI) conditions, and ensuring compliance with EMC requirements.
