- Assist the Government with creating, editing, and reviewing technical documentation to include, but not limited to, program plans, acquisition documentation, specifications, manuals, field bulletins, technical guides, and memos.
- Provide technical support to and coordination with functional areas/matrix support groups (i.e., budget, architecture, systems engineering, design, fabrication, testing, configuration management, logistics, producibility, MANPRINT, integrated product/process development, manufacturing, quality assurance, reliability, maintainability, fielding, training, operation, maintenance, etc.) as applicable to individual programs.
- Analyze program technical products (Drawing, Reports, Specifications each month and perform a technical study/assessment no more than twice a year.
- Perform non-recurring engineering studies and analyses to evaluate the viability of potential solutions to various technical problems, such as how systems might be integrated.
- Provide systems engineering expertise to analyze system concepts, system design and interoperability, providing input to, and analysis of, system architectures for the includes participation in Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (such as System Functional Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, etc.) as well as assist in defining appropriate Entrance and Exit criteria for those reviews.
- Support requirements/capabilities gap analysis including providing input to user capability needs IAW the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System process (e.g., systems’ Capabilities Production Document (CPD), and translation of user capability needs/requirements into performance specifications for all program systems.
- Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of DODI 5000 and Defense Acquisition.
- ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
- BA/BS degree in related field required.
- At least ten (10) years of related experience.
- Be independently mobile.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
- Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
