Raytheon is seeking a Senior System Engineer to join our System Integration and Test team in the Mobile Sensors & Weapons Systems Department. SI&T engineers are responsible for integration and system level testing of complex systems, identifying and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues, and developing automated or operator-driven tests in support of system-level requirements verification.

What You Will Do

• Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting and testing of hardware
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Analyze data for hardware, software, and simulations
• Prepare integration documentation, such as plans, procedures, and integration information sheets
• Utilize data analysis results to support issue identification and resolution
• Occasional extended hour work shifts
• Collaborate across functions to drive performance and resolve issues

What You Will Learn

• Learn and contribute to fast-growing product lines
• Hands on experience performing integration and test on tactical hardware

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience in test and troubleshooting of hardware.
• Experience in an engineering lab and/or test facility
• Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. US Citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with network configurations and troubleshooting
• Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB
• Experience interfacing with internal and external customers
• Experience with generating technical documentation in support of integration, verification, or validation

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
