We are seeking system engineers to lead efforts developing the next generation of safe, AI-powered autonomous driving systems. In this role, you will focus on applying V-Model methodologies to cross-disciplinary development across AI, computer vision, software architecture, planning and control, software / hardware interactions. You will be part of a team that covers the entire autonomous driving system and coordinates development teams across NVIDIA.

      What you’ll be doing:

      • Lead the requirements engineering process and collaborate with teams from different departments to determine project scope and objectives.

      • Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of requirements for our AI based autonomous vehicle systems.

      • Ensure that all requirements are documented, organized, and tracked throughout the project lifecycle.

      • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of requirements.

      • Regularly review and audit processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and recommended approaches.

      • Proactively identify and address any issues or risks related to requirements management.

      • Continuously improve the requirements engineering process and drive efficiencies.

      What we need to see:

      • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

      • 8+ years proven experience in requirements engineering and management for safety related systems.

      • Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies.

      • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with diverse teams.

      • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve ambiguities.

      • INCOSE certification and experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) are a plus.

      • Experience with Jama Connect RMS, Cameo/Magic Draw, Reliability Work Bench (RWB), Git, Python and tool integration.

      The base salary range is 180,000 USD - 339,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
