What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop features and code for UEFI firmware
- Document code flow, data flow, and architecture for UEFI firmware
- Debug and resolve UEFI firmware issues through innovative problem-solving
- Support simulation and FPGA environment bring-up for UEFI firmware
- Plan and implement pre and post-silicon verification of UEFI firmware
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of meaningful validated experience in relevant fields
- Strong understanding of low-level operating system functionality, particularly with ARM technologies
- Superb C programming and debugging skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with UEFI, ACPI, SMBIOS, and Linux kernel
- Working experience in system software, operating system internals, kernel modules, and device drivers
