      HYBRID ROLE BASED OUT OF OUR ATLANTA OFFICE

      Job Purpose:

      Our Senior Technical Business Analyst is responsible for leading technical business analysis efforts to develop and clarify business requirements that will be used to provide necessary functionality to meet business needs. In addition, this position will work with other team members to develop plans, schedules and deliverables to meet overall release schedules.

      Job Responsibilities:

      ● Work as a liaison between Veritiv business units and IT; bridging business requirements and technical solutions needed to meet those requirements.
      ● Collaborate closely with Veritiv leaders to define priorities, document technical requirements, and evaluate solutions.
      ● Analyze, document, and communicate system integration questions and system design decisions.
      ● Translate business objectives into technical requirements to facilitate system deliverables.
      ● Create various scope options dependent on priorities and cost/benefit expectations.
      ● Document current and future state business processes through process mapping.
      ● Perform walk-throughs of prototypes to gain approval for final solutions.

      Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

      ● Understanding and experience of working with APIs and Webservices.

      ● Exceptional communication skills, with experience presenting comfortably to and influencing technical teams, business users, and leadership.

      ● Solves problems at root cause and prioritizes effectively.

      ● Ability to simplify complex messages and adapt communication style to audience.

      ● Flexible and open-minded; proactively seeks input from others.

      Work Experience:

      ● 5-10 years of related job experience.

      ● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.

      ● Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM is preferred.

      ● Experience working with ERP systems, contract management, CRM systems and project management tools preferred.

      ● Experience writing SQL queries (familiar with primary and foreign keys, as well as joins and aggregate functions).

      ● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

      ● Strong planning and organization skills are required.

      Education:

      ● Bachelor's Degree Preferred
