About Shopify
Opportunity is not evenly distributed. Shopify puts independence within reach for anyone with a dream to start a business. Since 2006, we’ve grown to over 10,000 employees and generated over $500 billion in sales for millions of merchants in 175 countries. Every 28 seconds, an entrepreneur on Shopify makes their first sale.
This is life-defining work that directly impacts people’s lives as much as it transforms your own. This is putting the power of the few in the hands of the many, is a future with more voices rather than fewer, and is creating more choices instead of an elite option.

Job Description
The Dev Degree team at Shopify combines the best of traditional academic education, industry mentorship, and learning by doing, to engage and support undergraduate students in learning developer skills. We need experienced instructors to develop and deliver technical education that will help our students thrive as software developer interns at Shopify.
You’ll work with a team of instructors to create and deliver courses that teach our student’s industry software development skills alongside their academic degree. With the team, you will evaluate student progress and provide regular feedback to students. As part of your role, you will build and maintain close relationships with the developer community at Shopify to understand the technologies, tools and techniques we use to build our world-class products. You’ll incorporate this knowledge into your courses to help our students hit the ground running when they join our dev teams as interns.
