      Position Summary...

      What you'll do...

      We are looking for a Senior Technical Expert who has automation experience in Risk and Compliance management as well as deeper subject matter expertise of this domain.

      You will be wearing multiple hats to drive technical integration of the data sources, process streamlining, data quality assurance and in cross functional collaboration to integrate with enterprise and security solutions. You are expected to play a lead role and should be well versed in data analytics and big data solutions.

InfoSec Decision Automation (IDA) team delivers advanced, data-driven services to enable scalable, Risk and Compliance management products and services for Walmart Information Security organization.

      What you'll do:

      • You are expected to play the role of subject matter expert in technology risk management, vulnerability management, risk metrics, prioritization and life cycle management of risk and security issues. Basically, providing inputs on best ways to automate and in driving process standardization.
      • As part of our organization compliance obligations (PCI Compliance, HIPAA and Security standards enforcements) you will establish the necessary process or in refining the existing process and further contribute towards it automation.
      • You will bring in your technology expertise in various cloud platforms, big data solutions to drive the automation needs of Risk and Compliance security needs.
      • As a data integration architect and data custodian you will be responsible for establishing integration specification, contracts and design for our security and enrichment data sources.
      • You will be responsible for providing data quality assurance. Measuring data quality from our data sources and in our data lake. You will be working with data source owners, stakeholders, and engineering team to provide feedback, corrective action and in addressing the gaps.
      • You will be our Customer Experience champion and will be front ending our interaction with customer and stakeholders.
      • You will be working with SQL, Datawarehouse solutions (Google Big Query) and Graph technologies (Neo4j) that deal with large data sets that are present in Cloud and Non-Cloud environments.
      • Work across the entire Risk and Compliance ecosystem to manage effective and efficient data flow and exchange.
      • You will be creating design documentation, data flow, process diagrams and in writing technical requirements and specification for our automation and integration process.
      • You will work with security engineers, software engineers, data engineers, external teams, and partners in an agile manner to cater to our business requirements.
      • You will be adopting to Walmart Global Technology standards, learn Walmart platforms, Core Services and Managed services for our products and services.
      • You will be working hand in hand with product owner and managers to define product roadmap and feature releases.
      • Acting as a Subject matter expert, advisor and lead, to guide a team of software engineers to deliver best in class products and services, for Risk and Compliance business unit.



      What you'll bring:

      • Well versed with SQL (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL) and Data-warehouse (Big Query) technologies.
      • Working experience in Information security Risk and Compliance domain as a SME.
      • Should have experience in development and automation of enterprise compliance and risk processes.
      • Ability to grasp and understand the big picture and build customer centric products and services with minimal inputs, business definition and requirements.
      • Has an engineering mindset when creating products and solutions – multi region deployments, HA, auto-scaling, blue green deployments, secure SDLC for products and services, performance measures at every tier, data security and access control measures.
      • Working experience in Azure/GCP Cloud solutions and platforms
      • Have expertise in building micro-services, REST APIs, resilient and at scale services.
      • Self-driven, motivated and an ability to thrive in a chaos environment to drive meaningful business values.
      • Ability to adapt to new ecosystems, learn new technologies as needed and working experience in an agile environment.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to summarize and deep dive as required.
      • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Good knowledge and understanding of vulnerabilities, threats, exploits and incidents.
