Job Description
- Req#: 8090823002
- Act as a hiring partner to hardware leaders - owning everything from kickoff to close, while ensuring each hire strengthens their teams.
- Build and execute thoughtful, bespoke search strategies for complex Hardware roles across Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, and Embedded disciplines.
- Own top-of-funnel strategy and execution. While you may partner with a sourcer at times, sourcing is a core part of this role - you should have a strong knack for talent mapping, identification, and engagement, and take pride in finding and converting exceptional candidates yourself.
- Lead with data. You’ll use dashboards, funnel conversion metrics, and market insights to influence partners, troubleshoot proactively, and shape better decisions.
- Facilitate structured hiring processes with clarity and discipline, ensuring every interview produces strong and objective signals.
- Deliver an outstanding candidate experience that reflects our culture, values, and the ambition of our mission.
- Contribute to team-level initiatives, interviewer training, calibration, and process improvements to raise the bar for Talent Acquisition at Aurora.
- Bring 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in high-growth tech environments, including at least 2+ years focused on Hardware Engineering roles
- Operate as a true full-cycle recruiter - you work closely with hiring managers to shape search strategy, calibrate on signal, and guide every step of the process from first outreach to close. You don’t just fill roles, you drive hiring outcomes that strengthen the business
- Take pride in sourcing - you know how to uncover and engage exceptional talent, leveraging a variety of channels and approaches rather than relying on any single tool. You approach talent mapping and outreach with creativity, precision, and a strong commitment to building diverse pipelines
- Are a confident closer who knows how to tailor the pitch, navigate competing offers, and build trust throughout the process - ensuring candidates feel both inspired by our mission and clear on what to expect
- Have a track record of building trusted partnerships with senior technical leaders and guiding them through high-stakes hiring decisions
- Are a proactive communicator with strong judgment, able to coach, push back, and lead conversations with data and empathy
- Are deeply organized, fast-moving, and energized by complexity - you know how to bring structure without rigidity
- Are committed to building inclusive processes that reduce bias and improve hiring signals at every stage
