      Senior Technician - QC Microbiology (First Shift)

      Shift: Mon - Fri 8 am - 4 pm

      Location/Division Specific Information

      BioProduction Division is rapidly growing, assisting developers and manufacturers of biological therapeutics and vaccines.

      Discover Impactful Work:

      Join us in this exciting role where you will help our workstream teams manufacture products meeting quality requirements and support the fast-growing needs of our clients. You will play a key role in ensuring flawless operations and outstanding quality standards.

      A day in the Life:

      • Support Microbiology lab activities in a BSL-2 lab
      • Conduct bioburden, endotoxin, sterility check, and growth promotion testing on Resins and water samples
      • Perform water sampling and testing for continuous RODI performance

      Keys to Success:

      • Conduct Environmental Monitoring of manufacturing suites and QC lab spaces
      • Use excellent aseptic technique in sample handling, testing, and disposal
      • Support 5S and Instruments cleaning for contamination control

      Education

      • Bachelor’s or equivalent experience from an accredited college/university in a relevant scientific field

      Experience

      • 1+ years in a Microbiology lab

      Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

      • Skilled with aseptic technique and experienced in handling bacteria and fungi culture
      • Familiarity with bioburden methods (pour plate, membrane filtration, spread plate)
      • Strong inter-personal, communication, and presentation abilities

      Physical Requirements / Work Environment

      • This role requires the ability to work in a BSL-2 lab environment, and adhere strictly to safety protocols. Should be able to lift up to 25lbs.
