- Support the Theatre Bookings manager and e-RS Manager with all aspects of Theatre bookings and e-RS process.
- Coordinate the booking of Theatre capacity
- Liaising with patients to confirm bookings
- Preauthorisation of all insured patients
- Maintain a courteous and professional relationship with all colleagues, patients and consultants
- Preauthorisation of all insured patients
- Assist with e-RS reporting
- Booking appointments and procedures using the hospital Patient Management System
- Working with all departments within the hospital to ensure a smooth patient pathway.
- Role may involve some cross-site work at The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital, Aylesbury

- Be accountable for own standards of work
- Respect and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Attend appropriate training sessions to improve standard of practice.
- Attend all mandatory training sessions.
- Adhere to the hospital policies, procedures and standards.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings.
- Maintain courteous and professional relationships with all colleagues, visitors and consultants.
- Promote effective communication within all department areas.
- Support colleagues and work co-operatively to promote good team morale.
- Perform any other duties as required and deemed competent to do so.
- Actively work to maintain the standards set by The Care Quality Commission.
