What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare hazard characterizations and toxicological profiles/reviews as a principal author, managing workflow and budget with an interdisciplinary team
- Review and interpret epidemiology, toxicology, and mechanistic studies and integrate evidence from multiple data streams
- Conduct quantitative dose response assessments using Benchmark Dose (BMD) and physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling approaches
- Review reports and analyses performed by others
- Interact closely with other scientists and clients
What is Required (Qualifications):
- M.S. in toxicology or related discipline and 12+ years of toxicology related work experience OR Ph.D. in toxicology or related discipline and 9+ years of toxicologically related work experience
- DABT certification preferred
- Strong technical writing and quantitative skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience in hazard identification, dose-response assessment, mechanistic toxicology, toxicokinetics and evidence integration, and systematic review
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in mixtures risk assessment, epidemiology, pharmacokinetics/PBPK modeling, adverse outcome pathways (AOPs), new approach methods (NAMs), or computational toxicology or artificial intelligence tools for systematic review
