Responsible for Treasury accounting and controls compliance in the areas of investments, derivatives and hedging, and debt.
Co-owner of treasury related systems that impact accounting including Clearwater, Capella, and Integrity where you would enhance processes on data governance and accuracy of reports used for accounting.
Treasury accounting subject matter expert for our Treasury team and advise on technical accounting and controls.
Perform monthly and quarter end treasury accounting review tasks including review of reconciliations, investment compliance checklist, etc.
Prepare and coordinate detailed workpapers to support treasury related disclosures included in financial statements and SEC filings.
Enhance financial analytics and accounting for external reporting and management reporting by leveraging automation and data available in multiple financial systems and tools across the Company including SAP, Robotic Process Automation, Tableau, etc.
Support the development of automation of financial reports, define reporting requirements, assure SOX compliance requirements in automation efforts, and execute the implementation of the projects with various finance partners including IT, Finance, and SOX.
Be a liaison with the external auditors to ensure that support and explanations for all requests are provided.
Help identify areas for improvement on internal processes and controls in conjunction with quarterly reviews, annual audits, and SEC filings.
Support special projects, as necessary.
BA/BS in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
6+ years of Big 4 public accounting and/or experience in a large multinational public company
Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and perform with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines.
A desire to learn and have a great intellectual curiosity.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Self-starter who is willing to take initiative and achieve results independently.
An ability to balance working in the weeds as well as seeing the big picture.
Ability to multi-task, work independently and in teams to identify and tackle problems enthusiastically and clearly identify key issues of importance for team resolution.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
Active CPA license
Treasury accounting and derivative/ hedging accounting experience
SAP experience
Experience with any financial systems and tools such as SAP, Clearwater, Treasury accounting systems, Tableau, Robotic Process Automation, SAS, Alteryx, Python, R, SQL, and MS Access
