Job Description

Conduct user research through user interviews, contextual inquiries, ethnographic research, card sorting and any other design research techniques.
Evaluate and synthesize respective research to then develop personas, journey maps and any other research outputs.
Design and develop user research tools and protocols and lead research sessions using templates, mural, or prototypes.
Examine and synthesize respective research into user insights, design principles or strategic recommendations for the client.
Use service design and product design methodologies to create a north star of the experience and identify key moments that matter.
Translate those needs into service blueprints, strategic recommendations, or prototypes using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Invision, to develop outputs.
Investigate information and data to unearth gaps and insights, translating findings into recommendations that can help our clients improve their user and service experiences.
Work on client proposals and RFP responses.
Help create practice assets and IP.
Graduate of an established design program, or other post-secondary education combined with equivalent design experience.
Strong Portfolio or collection showcasing case studies.
Demonstrated strong technical skills in Figma, Sketch, and/or other prototyping tools. Designing experiences for new technologies (AR/VR, IoT, wearables, etc.) would be a definite asset.
Solid understanding of user research techniques, service and product design, and customer experience strategy.
Quantitative analysis skills would also be an asset.
Confident working in a co-creative and agile environment including workshop facilitation and communicating with clients when rationalizing design decisions and strategies.
When applying to a Quebec based opportunity, fluency in French is required. Outside of Quebec, fluency in French is an asset.
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside and/or coaching diverse people and perspectives.
This role has the option of being based out of our Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal, Québec.
As a requirement, a Secret Security Clearance is mandatory for all staff who will be engaged on these assignments.
