What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute a comprehensive UX research strategy to guide product innovation and improvements
- Collaborate with product managers to prioritize research questions and inform product roadmaps with user insights
- Plan and conduct user research using various methods to uncover user behaviors and pain points
- Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Mentor and coach product team members on research best practices to ensure effective user discovery
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field
- 7+ years of hands-on UX research experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record in a SaaS environment, ideally with complex workflow products
- Proficiency in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the Higher Education EdTech space or with B2B SaaS workflow tools
- Comfort working in agile and lean development environments
- Experience mentoring or managing research teams or cross-functional pods
