- Lead implementation of Points of Light’s corporate programs
- Develop and refine program models that advance corporate social impact in alignment with Points of Light’s mission and deliver on target outcomes.
- Establish clear KPIs and outcomes for corporate programs and implement strategies for measuring and reporting results.
- Oversee systems, resources and structures to ensure corporate programs are implemented with excellence and efficiency and result in high NPS scores.
- Stay current on trends and research in corporate social impact and employee volunteer engagement.
- Oversee the development and effective management of corporate program budgets and partner with Finance department colleagues to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- Track and report progress toward corporate program KPIs and goals.
- Collaborate with Development to develop relationships with companies interested in Points of Light’s corporate programs.
- Collaborate closely with the Development team to cultivate a pipeline for corporate programs, especially activation, consulting and Corporate Service Council.
- Participate in introductory and partnership development calls with companies.
- Cultivate and expand partnership opportunities with existing clients, helping them to discover their next step with Points of Light.
- Coach, inspire and develop a talented staff of senior leaders and program managers.
- Coach and manage a team of 4-5 senior program leaders overseeing Points of Light’s corporate activation, corporate social impact consulting, Corporate Service Council, The Civic 50 and corporate thought leadership as well as the teams they supervise.
- Ensure that team capability and capacity evolves in alignment with market dynamics, program requirements, and internal and external customer expectations.
- Collaborate with leaders from across the enterprise, including marketing and communications, development, and finance, to establish partnership priorities and enable successful partnership implementation.
- Experience building, implementing and measuring the success of CSR and corporate social impact programs or employee volunteer programs.
- Knowledge of corporate community engagement models and best practices and experience evolving programs and strategies accordingly.
- Demonstrated ability to manage programs across the project lifecycle from scoping/planning to implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
- Ability to analyze company and market needs, formulate consultative solutions to address needs and customize existing offerings according to company needs.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who embraces diversity and collaboration, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and successfully meets aggressive growth and revenue goals.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to consistently deliver a professional and polished presentation or facilitate a meeting with corporate or NGO partners across the world.
- Excellent relationship skills including building and nurturing high touch customer relationships.
- Excellent project management skills including developing organizational consensus, work planning, and executing projects.
- Experience building and managing program budgets.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in corporate social responsibility, corporate employee volunteer programs or corporate program management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and motivate and develop employees.
- Able to occasionally travel overnight and/or internationally (estimated 15-20%).
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Salesforce, program management software (Asana), and data analytics/visualization tools are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives.

Position Summary:
Through our corporate programs – employee activation, consulting and advisory services, the Corporate Service Council, The Civic 50 and corporate insights – Points of Light mobilizes and equips companies to fulfill their essential social impact role.The Senior Vice President (SVP) is responsible for developing and implementing high-impact corporate programs that drive people-powered change in communities around the globe, both directly and through collaboration with the Points of Light Global Network. In partnership with Development colleagues, they will cultivate and steward relationships with Points of Light’s corporate partners and members to ensure revenue goals are achieved. The SVP will collaborate closely with the Chief Program & Impact Officer and be responsible for coaching and managing 4-5 direct reports who each oversee a portfolio of programs and program managers.
This is an exciting time for corporate programs at Points of Light. Consumer and employee expectations for companies to make a positive social impact is growing, and Points of Light is well-positioned to guide companies in meeting those new standards. We are making new investments in deepening and measuring the impact of our programs, and the SVP will play a key role in driving innovation for our corporate work. Our partners span industries, geographies and size and include Lowe’s, Target, Delta Air Lines, Starbucks, The Walt Disney Company, KPMG, Eastman Chemical Company, Otis, UPS, Synopsys and Altria.
