- Develop, socialize and execute overall sales transformation and operational strategy with the Chief Commercial Officer and sales leadership team
- Build an industry-leading analytical capability that drives flawless execution of Sodexo’s growth strategy
- Build a world-class strategic sales operations team, as well as support the training and development of the broader sales organization, and the supporting lead to order processes
- Lead Sodexo’s Regional Sales Support teams, define and implement process and coverage models for Inside Sales Support to improve sales and accelerate lead to cash
- Be a trusted partner to segment marketing and operational leaders and segment CEO’s in leading our growth strategy through multiple strategic initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts or business, marketing or sales related field
- Strong credibility with a professional sales team through direct experience either selling on the frontline/ managing a sales team, or working deeply in a sales ops capacity, or leading a sales operations/consulting team
- Proven leadership capabilities working with sales and senior executives to drive sustainable organic growth
- Strong strategic capabilities to “see the big picture” and partner closely with commercial leadership and sales team to develop winning commercial strategies
- Detail-oriented approach with a willingness to “roll up their sleeves” and develop detailed, actionable plans then drive them to completion
- Strong analytical capabilities with deep expertise in data, analytics, business intelligence and commercial tools
- Deep understanding of sales process design, sales compensation plans and related outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written communications capabilities – including presentation, facilitation and influencing
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with operations, marketing, finance, to team up and deliver value
- Track record of building teams, processes and systems from the ground up and successfully executing change management efforts
- MBA or equivalent preferred
Unit Description
Sodexo has enjoyed many years of impressive growth as a recognized leader in valued experiences, sustainability and outsourced food services. This has created the need to expand our world-class sales operations capability and team to enable it to continue its growth trajectory.
We are seeking a Senior Vice President of Revenue Operations who will lead the Sales Operations team that will be the backbone of the industry leading sales organization.
This is a remote role with 30-50% travel.
Reporting to our Chief Commercial Officer, this leader will collaborate with sales, business leaders and the segment CEO’s, to develop and execute the sales transformation vision, implement the sales operational framework and set the strategic course for value creation in Sodexo’s go to market.
The Sales Operations team consists of core sales operational teams, as well as Competitive Rebids, Inside Sales Support and Sales Enablement. To succeed in this role, the SVP must be a visionary leader with strong strategic capabilities and the drive to challenge the status quo, complemented with a pragmatic, hands-on approach that facilitates transforming a world class strategic sales operations capability from the ground up, along with the ability to build, motivate and grow high performing teams. This leader will design impactful operational strategies for growing Sodexo and drive these initiatives through to successful execution.
